The Line begins with a photo taken one morning in 2015 in Marseille. It is early, the sun rises behind the hill of Notre Dame de la Garde and cuts its silhouette in Chinese shadow. The essence of Marseille is there; the hill, the Good Mother, Vauban's Gap. Antoine decides to make it an object cut out of steel. The idea quickly becomes very successful in Marseille and he develops it further. Since 2015, the brand has been lovingly shaping wall fixings like poetic silhouettes. In one stroke, cut out of metal, The Line reveals panoramas of cities, mythical pieces of music or legendary summits. Through a pure and moving design, each person is free to find a part of his or her own history, a memorable experience, a dream to be fulfilled. The Line attaches particular importance to the creation of its products - designed and manufactured in half a dozen workshops across France - as well as to those who make them, from the SCOP (Société Coopérative et Participative) where the metal profiles are cut, to the assembly carried out by an ESAT (Etablissement et Service d'Aide par le Travail) in the heart of Paris.
