Andrée Jardin
Founded in 1947, Brosserie Andrée Jardin continues the century-old tradition of the brushing industry. Long focused on the industrial sector, with the manufacture of brushes and brooms for flour mills and shipyards, the brush factory suffered in the early 2000s from low-cost competition. To save the family business, Jean-Baptiste and François-Marie had a brilliant idea: to transform their products into trendy, decorative accessories. They developed brooms and dustpans inspired by the look of the 50s, in vintage colors. They work with designers such as Mr & Mrs Clynk and collaborate with like-minded houses such as the Fer à Cheval soap factory in Marseilles. Andrée Jardin's love of sustainable materials is also evident: the wood is local, from sustainably managed forests, while the fibers are white silk, horsehair or plant-based. For these reasons, Brosserie Andrée Jardin has been awarded the EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) label, a true mark of recognition for their excellent craftsmanship.
