Let's start with a little 2023 review!
Because L'Atelier Français is written FOR and WITH you, we thought you'd like to know how we're doing in 2023? As you are no doubt aware, the current economic climate is not very favorable. Downtown stores are suffering...
Our battle (for healthier, more reasoned consumption) is littered with obstacles.
We're dreaming of a real boost from the government! A VAT cut to 5.5% for French products would be the ultimate dream! This is one of the battles we are waging with the Made in France boutiques collective, which we co-founded in 2020, and of which we are particularly proud.
We ended 2023 with our energy still intact, but aware of the economic limits of our concept. To continue the adventure we'd need to make more money, but made in France is expensive, and soaring material and energy costs aren't making things any easier.
So we're seriously thinking about broadening our scope of action (without changing our battle), and that's where we need YOU:
What if we included a few European-made products in our selection?
(always with an ethical and eco-responsible approach, of course) What would you think?
