Description
Linen care
You may notice a slight shrinkage of your items at the first wash but don't worry, we have foreseen it and this shrinkage is calculated before the making.
Washing linen
The recommended washing temperature is 30° to 40°C. Beyond this temperature, you risk seeing your dark colors fade very slightly. The ideal is not to fill your machine completely in order to let the linen bloom in the drum without the risk of wrinkling it too much or of seeing marks appear which would be accentuated during drying.
Use a soft detergent for example with Marseille soap and choose a spinning speed between 800 and 1000 rpm.
Drying linen
Linen has the ability to dry quickly. The more you stretch it before hanging it, the less you will have to take care of it afterwards. Ideally, it should be dried in the open air, but do not expose it to the sun for too long, as this will stiffen the fiber. If you use a tumble dryer, choose a gentle program.
Ironing linen
If you take all these precautions, you will not have to iron your linen, the nicely crumpled aspect of linen being part of its personality.
Otherwise, ironing will be done at medium temperature with a little steam.
For dark colors, think of ironing on the reverse side.
