Reine Mère is a Toulouse-based design studio and object publisher founded in 2006. Stéphane Clivier is the founder and has been running the brand for 14 years. All its objects are designed and manufactured in France, in small series, with respect for people and their environment. Reine Mère encourages local manufacturing in order to offer ethical objects that respect people and their environment. She favors the use of natural materials from her regions: sustainably managed wood (PEFC* certification) sourced mainly from Jura forests, recycled paper and packaging, natural oil treatments, water-based glues, etc. To assemble its creations, Reine Mère also develops partnerships with ESAT (Entreprises et services d'aide par le travail).
